I am a Somali Bantu. I was born in Somalia, but we had to leave because of the war. We stayed in a [refugee] camp in Kenya for five years. Then two years ago, my family came to the United States. Because we are refugees, the IRC [International Rescue Committee] has helped us to resettle here.
